With three years in the solar industry, Connor Krening has already been involved in hundreds of megawatts of utility-scale PV deployments. After completing his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree and a 7-month internship with BMW, Connor joined DEPCOM Power as a Field Productivity Engineer. There, he provided multifaceted support of engineering field activities, including drone photogrammetry, surveying, and production process studies. He then evolved into the role of Project Operations Engineer where he created tools to measure construction metrics and improvements in workflow. Connor quickly distinguished himself from other field engineers with his tenacious and creative problem-solving approach, which naturally sent him in the direction of programming solutions and the creation of novel mathematical formulas to solve complex modeling problems. Connor is now helping Erthos advance its software and tools used to streamline the design and prediction capabilities of the Erthos platform.
